NT Trade was founded in response to the growing need for reliable local e-commerce solutions during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Inspired by the resilience of informal traders and community-driven marketplaces, our goal is to provide a digital space where anyone—from township spaza shop owners to students selling used items—can participate in the economy. NT Trade was created not just as a platform, but as a movement to digitize and democratize South African trade.
